Content Management Systems



Content Management Systems enable a person with no knowledge of HTML or web design technologies to update the content of their web site. A website's content can be easily and simply controlled using one of the following content management systems:

  • Static Text CMS allows the basic textual content of a page to be edited, updated or completely rewritten, by you, at any time you desire.

  • Database Object CMS is a simple interface that site owners can use to add and edit database objects and their associated information [for example an upcoming event, it's date, time and venue OR a product, it's description, part number, price and picture].

    Webpage content is then dynamically generated based on the information you have added to a database.

  • Another feature of database powered websites is that site users can interact with the available information [for example search for events at a certain venue, display all events after a given date OR search for a product described by a particular keyword, find products costing less than a given price].
